Why our Broadband Sticks are too slow? (Smart Bro, Globe Tattoo and Sun Broadband)

Hi again! I'm going to tell you guys why does your Broadband Modem Sticks download and upload speed are too slow what I mean is... THE SMART BRO, GLOBE TATTOO AND SUN BROADBAND STICKS CONNECTIONS ARE TOO SLOW! Are you getting angry everytime, getting pissed, and throwing your modem stick everytime the connection is slow? Here's why...

1. Network Congestion - there are too many users on your area that's why your connection is too slow. Your lucky if the whole neighborhood or the whole city is being covered by a single tower.

2. Coverage Signal - probably the coverage signal is too weak thats why there is no connection receiving on your modem. Maybe you are too far away from a cellsite and your are covered with weak signals.

3. 2G-3G-4G Network Coverage - if the modem detects HSDPA, 3G or 4G Signals... You are very fortunate! But if your modem detects 2G, GPRS, EDGE or GSM signals... you are also luckily fortunate and expect nice and very slow connection.

4. Time of use - Try to analyse what is the fast connection to receive on various time... For example, the fast connection that your going to receive is 11pm-6am, or 4am to 9am. 

5. Provincial Use - try to use this Broadband sticks in the province or out of town. In the province your never gonna experience network congestions even if your connection is 2G, EDGE or even GPRS your going to feel that your P1000 is SULIT! (except from Northwestern Laguna, Cebu City, Davao City, Northern Cavite, Western Rizal, Southern Bulacan and Metro Manila. This is the places that the internet connection on Broadband Sticks are so congested!) 

Additional Tips: 

* Do not use it for online gaming...

* Do not smash it just like what I done to my Smart Bro plug it...

* Be wise! Angerness will result nothing...
* If you can't handle the angerness on your modem sticks, try to apply for 512kbps for 799 a month.
* Never try the WI-TRIBE 4G BROADBAND... just don't ask me why!
* If you have laptops or wi-fi phones and gonna update on facebook try to go malls or places that have

 wi-fi signals... or go to a cafe and rent a computer for 1 hour.

Comparison of Smart Bro, Globe Tatto and Sun Broadband Modem Sticks...

Hi? I just want to make a little review on this three broadband modem that being proud of by the BIG THREE INTERNET SERVICE PROVIDERS IN THE PHILIPPINES.

3. Sun Broadband 

Let's judge the first one, Smart Bro, the first Broadband stick in the country. It was introduced in 2008 with a rectangular shape with a miniUSB cord. I purchased this in 2009, at first... Your gonna love to use it... (from surf, watch videos, social status etc.) because it is too fast and of course it worth P999 on the market and for prepaid use (my mother hates monthy hectic bills thats why she chooses to bought it in prepaid than postpaid plan).

At first it was fast but heres now the problem, after long period of usage its getting slower and slower... and even a single download and upload rate doesn't increase up to 20 kbps and if your lucky it is stuck to 0 kbps and your P30 load will be going to get waste! But fortunately the modem didn't last long... after 5 months of usage... I smashes it with a sledgehammer!

Let's talk about the second one, the Globe Tattoo stick, the newly broadband stick in the market. It was introduced in 2011, I didn't purchased it because of the last incident about the Smart Bro that's why I borrow one of this from a friend, When I plug and connect the modem stick on my laptop, it was slow, definitely slow but not too slow just like Smart Bro, I was a little bit of impressed, not too impressed enough, because it didn't change its download and upload speed even in a longer period of usage. It was really a 4G connection. The current price of this Broadband modem worth P995 if I'm correct, and of course it also prepaid.

Lastly, the second Broadband modem that has been introduced in 2009, the Sun Broadband modem stick, I purchased it last month, and it worth also P995, my mother told me if I am gonna buy a broadband stick, try the Sun Broadband, at first, I was a little bit hesitate to buy it because of the Smart Bro incident, I don't want to waste another P1000. But still I bought it. When I plug and connect the modem to the computer, first impression... It is going to be slow connection for sure! But when I open a browser, WTF? Sweet Jesus, Son of Mary! I just shouted... AWESOMENESS! Because it is fast... So the commercial on TV is true... "CONSISTENT, FAST AND RELIABLE INTERNET CONNECTION!" That's all I can say about the Sun Broadband... My mother told me why she urges me to buy Sun Broadband than the others because of the network traffic on our area what I mean is the CONGESTION of the Cell Sites in the area. There are too many Smart Bro and Globe Tattoo user on our area because theres a Smart Cellsite in the back of our house and a 500 meters Globe cellsite also in our area. People doesn't too much use Sun Broadband nowadays because they think Smart Bro, Globe Tattoo and Sun Broadband are both equal. That's all folks!

Still a goddamn mystery to me this girl... Such beauty into my eyes!

Sun Broadband Wireless Modem Alcatel One Touch X090S

Sun Broadband Wireless Product: Alcatel One Touch X090S Price: P995 (Pre-paid), P799 (Post-paid, per month) Bago ko siya bilhin, inisip ko muna kung bibilhin ko ba siya o hindi, kasi first impression ko kaagad baka katulad siya ng Smart Bro na sobrang bagal! Sa totoo lang ah? Naka dalawang Smart Bro na ako, yung una kong binili eh yung may mini USB cord pa tapos yung sumunod na doon yung Huawei Modem and luckily pareho ko silang pinukpok ng martilyo sa sobrang inis ko sa bagal ng internet nila... Pero sabi sa'kin ng mother ko bili daw ako non dahil mabilis daw iyon kaysa sa Smart Bro, and then binili ko nga at ng i-plug ko na siya sa PC ko... At ng i-open ko yung Google Chrome... Napasigaw ako ng may kasamang halakhak... XDXDXDXDXD! Ganyan pala itsura niyan... Na-convience ako ng modem na 'toh kasi nalaman ko na kakaunti lang ang gumagamit ng Sun Broadband dito sa lugar namin... Kasi yung Smart Bro dito sa'min masyado ng Congested sa sobrang dami ng gumagamit! Konti lang masasabi ko diyan... Ang suggest ko sa inyo itapon nyo na yung Smart Bro, Globe Tattoo or wi-tribe nyo... Gusto ko sanang i-try yung wifi modem nila na tag-4600 pesos kung pre-paid, pwede rin siyang post-paid na tag-1600 per month)! One thing lang hindi pwedeng pang-online games ang Sun Broadband Alcatel X090S Modem ... Basta! Wag nyong gagawin yon...

China VS. Philippines, A stand-off on Scarborough Shoal

Noong mga nakaraang araw, nagkaroon ng matinding tunggalian ang Pilipinas laban sa China ukol sa pinagtatalunang isla sa Scarborough Shoal, dahil sa illegal na panghihimasok at pangingisda ng 8 barko na galing sa West Philippine Sea, isa itong matinding paghamak ng mga Chinese sa itinakdang batas at kasunduan ng Pilipinas mula sa United Nations Convention of the Law of the Sea or UNCLOS na illegal na pumasok ang mga barkong pangisda ng China sa loob ng EEZ o Exclusive Economic Zone ng Pilipinas. Hindi lamang iyon, nang dapat ng hulihin ng Philippine Navy ang mga barkong illegal na pumasok sa ating 

nasasakupang dagat, ay bigla na lamang silang pinigil ng mga barkong pampatrolya ng Chinese Navy! Isa itong malaking paghamak nila sa ating saligang batas at ating kasarinlan! Hindi lamang iyon, pinagpupumilit nilang sa kanila ang buong Spratly Islands at ang Scarborough Shoal dahil ito ay nasa South China Sea at ito ay nasasaad mula pa sa kanilang kasaysayan, pero nasasaad sa UNCLOS Treaty na ang mga isla na 200 nautical miles mula sa nalalapit na lupa ay pag-aari ng nasabing bansa. Ang ibig sabihin, ang Scarborough Shoal at ang Spratly Islands ay malapit sa kalupaan ng Pilipinas na kulang kulang 130 nautical miles, ang ibig sabihin, possesion ng Republika ng Pilipinas ang mga nasabing isla na pinagpupumilit ng China na pag-aari nila ang mga nasabing isla, habang ang kanilang lupain ay 800 milya mahigit mula sa Scarborough Shoal at sa Spratly Islands. 

Hindi lamang tayo ang bansang hinamak ng mga mapang-aping mga Instik, pati na ang bansang Vietnam at mga karatig nating bansa, noong 1980's habang naka station ang mga Sundalo at mga Mangingisdang Vietnamese sa Spratly Islands, walang habas nabinaril ng Chinese Destroyer na gamit ang kanila Machine Gun at mga Kanyon ang mga walang labang sundalo at mangingisda, iyon ang pinakamadugong Massacre na naganap sa Spratly Islands.

Pero tayo ngayon sa atin, habang lumalala ang sitwasyon sa Stand-off ng ating bansa sa China, naglunsad ang Chinese Hacktivist na i-hack ang mga websites sa ating bansa, pati na ang Official Website of our President, pero bilang tugon, naglunsad din ang ating mga kapatid na Pinoy Anonymous Hacktivist ng kanilang Major Hacking Offensive on government and university websites.
